• Assist in the planning and execution of shipbuilding and ship repair projects from kick-off through to delivery
• Coordinate with shipyard departments (engineering, production, QA/QC) to track construction progress
• Liaise with clients, classification societies and regulatory authorities for inspections and approvals
• Support procurement and expediting of materials, equipment and subcontractor services
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, drawings, permits and test records
• Attend site meetings, inspections and sea trials as required
• Track project costs and variations, and assist in budgeting and invoicing processes
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Maritime Studies, or a related field
• 2–5 years of experience in shipbuilding, ship repair, or marine engineering projects
• Experience in large commercial Singapore shipyards is advantageous
• Familiarity with shipyard processes such as hull construction, outfitting and commissioning
• Basic understanding of classification society requirements (e.g. BV, ABS, DNV, Lloyd’s Register)
• Exposure to various vessel types including aluminium, passenger and fibre vessels
• Understanding of HSSE practices in shipyard operations
• Knowledge of Singapore shipyard practices and safety standards
• Familiarity with Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) regulatory requirements
